Koons has a great way of looking at the world creativly, and something as simple as a pool toy made into metal is now interesting art. JD if i had to pick a piece of his work, i would go with one of his murals because everytime you look at them you would see something different you didn’t see the time before. When you get a piece..please share. Does Janet have any pieces? So cool how much you two love art, just shows how open your mind is to others viewpoints! Rock on!
Wow, Now-a-days we are so caught up on the artistry of Music and Poetry that we often forget about it in its original art form….. His work is simply breathtaking and unthinkable…. Thanks JD for this insight.

Not really impressed by his work. He is not touching the art, like others are. Very different from a Rockwell, michaelangelo etc. I know action figure artist that are much better, but it all about who you know, and who back you.

I didn’t see where I could state this but since I saw you mention Janet’s name in this blog I chosed this blog. I simply wanted to ask you to let Janet know that I am so sorry for her loss of her brother and that I have her and the entire Jackson family in my prayers. I wish I could do more than just share words of what I know the family is constantly hearing but I know that she and her family are strong and have each other love and support to deal with this sudden loss. I wish her well and if it comforts her tell her that her brother is now an angel looking down upon his baby sister and the rest of the family. Thank You.

I was reading Robert greene’s book the art of seduction a few years ago and he had many stories about how Andy warhol seduced people in his day and age.. this dude seems to encapsulate everything that andy warhol did… his art is pure surface it has no depth .. yet that same feature intrigues humans who by nature abhore a vacuum to fill it with meaning…. which is not there
it is alas a vacuum … nothing pure glitter…. but very pretty indeed

same thing as a producer who dont play instruments. all they did was transfer his ideas to a bigger canvas. he still is the artist. i can picture some of the peaces hanging in a corner if you had a big house but not for 25 mil. i’ll let bill gates take that home.
