JD, I hope you guys are getting back to the basics with Usher in the studio. I have been rockin wit Usher every since “You Make Me Wanna”, I’ve bought every CD including the last one which I truly felt was a disappointment. I don’t feel it was the quality music Usher usually puts out. Usually when I buy a Usher CD, I let it ride from beginning to end and on ‘Here I Stand”, I skipped quite a few tracks after listening to the CD the first time. I’m glad Usher is at a good place in his personal life, but I hope this next album is the Usher signature sound his fans know and love…………If the “Usher” chain is any indication, then I can’t wait for the new album!! At the end of the day it’s about putting out quality music that we can play in 2020 and be like “Yeah, that’s STILL my shit right there”!!!!!!!!!

I actually heard about the whole MJ thing, and how his tickets sold out fast. I think ConcreteLoop posted about it, but anyway, people do not post about things like that, because it just happens to be one of those post people skip over. They go on blogs that post information that they want to hear, and of course people that run these blogs put up anything juicy to get hits. Michael Jackson wasn’t someone in our time, so I’m assuming a lot of the blogosphere people do not even know much of Michael. He’s not interesting. Chrianna is more interesting, ya know. Basically, people overlook all this other historical stuff, and just wanna hear the lastest gossip, that’s all. Society as a whole is about instanst gratification.
I was watching the LTL video (In the studio with Usher) and I’m already feeling the 5 seconds of the track. Really sounds like old classic r&b, and someone needs to bring it back, because Chris Brown isn’t going to. There’s reallly no real r&b out there anymore. Keep at it Usher! And props to the producers and writers! I bought his last album, and although the mass majority didn’t like it, it was still a solid album.

Also, I still can’t believe how successful Confessions was. Atlease 6 million copies, and every single song that came off that disc was a hit, it’s crazy! I wonder what Usher was thinking when all that happened! Times have definately changed with the music buisness though.

@ Posh.. lol.. poor thang. It’s like updating your status on Facebook. Where it says “What are you doing?” at the top, you just enter a phrase or two and hit update. To find people to follow.. you can go to ‘Find People’ and just enter a name in the search bar. When it comes up, there’ll be an option next to it that says ‘Follow’, you just hit that to add people. If you have a Blackberry or iPhone or any other PDA/Smartphone.. you can go add different Twitter apps to your phone to update from there. (I.E. Blackberry has the ever popular Twitterberry and then there’s Tweetie… and Twitterfon.. etc. etc.) If you want to get updates thru your phone or update via txt, you just enter the info under mobile settings. Hope that helps

Reguarding Usher’s latest LP – Here I Stand..it was really good, I think people just slept on it for other reasons and that caused them to not like the disc. I still rotate Moving Mountains, What’s A Man To Do, Something Special, (HIS MISTAKES !!!!!!!!!!!!! – SAY WHAT?!), Trading Places etc. I just think everyone was expecting the typical Usher stuff, and when they didn’t get it, it was a bore. A lot of the songs were awesome though, each song had a story to tell, and Usher’s vocal game wasn’t horrible..
