Swiss watch maker Hublot has collaborated with the EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne) over the last three years to develop new high tech materials for their watches. The first one is being revealed in their new Hublot Magic Gold watch. By fusing 24 karat gold with new high tech materials, they achieved a new type of 18 karat gold that is completely scratch resistant, creating a new type of noble gold. Here above the new material is shown on their Big Bang watch.
