  1. It’s called PAY PER CLICK…I’ve paid plenty of money to Google for them searches and they will have people from all over calling your business. The problem is the more companies that want them keywords the more it’s going to cost you, so it’s getting harder and harder for the smaller companies to complete….Sort of like Wal-Mart… Somebody needs to shut them down by the way… They are killing small local businesses…

  2. Unless your business competes with Google you should alright. With social media the playing field helps us small business owners. Besides, you can use Google to advertise your business beyond search. Google plus and YouTube. The Walmart vs Google comparing is a stretch to me.

  3. Boy stop, do you think the small business owners are driving the price up for the keywords? NO the big businesses are with their big budgets. Those keyword prices go up in price as the demand for them go up, so the playing field is only even if you have a budget to match the big companies.

If the figures above are correct then what is the difference between Wal Mart and Google? That’s why I love white people so much, here in Atlanta they get there whole community in the fight to stop Wal Mart from coming into their neighborhood, why? Because they know how Walmart effects small businesses…. If you have a product and you get it in Wal Mart first of all check out the reserve of inventory that they are going to make you carry (this bankrupts most companies) but if that product gets real big watch Wal Mart come out with their own brand to compete with it… AND if Wal Mart go and purchases all of these items in bulk you already know they are going to get the lowest prices, what is that local vendor going to do? I guess Wal Mart creating jobs in your community is the answer? Well we see who they promote in the company and we also see the same names from Wal Mart in Forbes every year. Google plus and youtube advertising I’m still checking out so we shall see, I hope Harold is right.

Yahoo and Bing can advertise all they want, but companies are going to keep spending with Google for their market share… Build an audience and everybody will give you money to sale to the audience that you have built…Same concept for the last 2000 years.

  4. You gotta know how to game them bro’. There’s blackhat shiz they’re never going to catch up on, try as hard as they can with their Pandas and Penguins, the web is built on links – just got to know how to get the juicy ones pointing your way passing their rank, trust & authority on.
Google today doesn’t look at volume of links like it used to – it’s all about quality and in Google’s case you actually can polish a turd. Just sayin like. 😉

  5. Google had 50Billion in income last year. Google = YouTube
    = Adsense
    = Adwords
    = Android
    = DoubleClick
    = Blogger
    = Google Maps
= Largest Search engine site in the world. Do the Math.

I believe G14 can make strides to compete with such companies to make such lists but it would take alot of strategic planning & most of all execution.
