With the help of his Rihanna-assisted single “The Monster” debuting at no. 3 this week and “Berzerk,” “Survival” and “Rap God” sitting at no. 15-17 respectively, Em has narrowly surpassed the Beatles to become the best/selling artist of the last decade. In addition to this, he has also set a personal record as well, with “The Monster” being his very first song to top the R&B/Hip Hop charts. A major reason for this dominance is that the rap charts were based heavily on airplay previously but are now focused more on on digital sales and streaming.
