Ebro went on air and said that Charlamagne planned to leave Power 105 if he could get his own morning show with Hot 97 and leave behind The Breakfast Club. However, after the company reportedly only offered him a position for Ebro in the Monring, he declined the possibility and opted to stay with iHeartMedia on a contract renewal over the summer.
