I DONT KNOW IF IM SUPER HAPPY ABOUT THIS YET
Disney announced today at CinemaCon that, starting in 2015, a new Star Wars film will be released every summer, alternating between main story episodes and stand alone movies.
The pattern will begin with JJ Abrams’ Episode VII installment, set for a 2015 summer release. While no casting announcements have been made, the return of the original trilogy’s main trifecta has been hinted at.

Star Wars is a national treasure and I pray that the Walt Disney Company revamps it with so new and exciting story line with a harder edge, JJ Abrams is one of the best Sci-fi directors and producers out there, and with him at the helm I can only see great things for this franchise, The only caveat is that he and his team currently produce the new versions of the Star Trek franchise and being a huge fan of the federation over the force I hope this doesn’t conflict with each other movies.
