The overhauled drop top has a sleeker, curvier, and more aggressive appearance akin to its future stablemate, the 918 hybrid supercar. Power will come from your choice of a 265 horsepower 2.7 liter flat six ($49,500) or the top of the line “S” model ($60,900) which packs 3.4 liter with 315 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds.

Aston Martin announces the DBS Carbon Edition, a new model is characterized by components made of ultra-light, ultra-strong carbon fibre. Though the DBS’s chassis is aluminum (where the One-77 is full carbon), the car features CF accents inside and out, on elements like the wing mirror, dashboard, rear light cluster and front splitter.

The NSX Concept gives an indication of the next great performance vehicle from Honda’s Acura brand. Making use of lightweight materials and a mid-mounted VTEC® V-6 engine, the NSX Concept employs several new technologies for Acura, including the Sport Hybrid SH-AWD® (Super Handling All Wheel Drive™) system.

“This Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system will make NSX the ultimate expression of Acura’s idea to create synergy between man and machine,” said Takanobu Ito, president and CEO of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. “The NSX will make the driver one with the car to enhance dynamic driving abilities without getting in the way.”

“Like the first NSX, we will again express high performance through engineering efficiency,” added Ito, who led the development of Acura’s first NSX supercar. “In this new era, even as we focus on the fun to drive spirit of the NSX, I think a supercar must respond positively to environmental responsibilities.”
