I love that Ben Horowitz [somewhat] touched on bitcoins. I spoke on this on twitter about 3 months ago with a friend of mine.
Bitcoins is digital dollars (Cryto currency). Bitcoins were actually mined (like a coal miners would, but digitally) when it started, but now you can buy them as apart of you investment portfolio. It’s tax free (for now).
Steve Stoute on the subject of the growing trends of celebrities being CMOs and Chief Innovations Officers: “I think some of them are real, and some of them are fake.” The faking part has been a marketing model for too long, but that’s changing – as this only goes back to my conversation with a brand executive a few days ago that told me: “We’re only endorsing people who actually love using our product because then it’s believable.” Clearly that makes more sense.
