Director James Cameron has unfortunately revealed the epic science fiction film, Avatar 2 would be delayed a year. Following the original Avatar release in 2009, it went to become the highest-grossing film in history, totaling nearly $2.8 billion in box office revenue. Cameron opened up on why the scripts haven’t been finished, saying he and his team are having plot complexity for the three releases.
James is still set to roll-out the tetralogy of sequels in consecutive years – spanning from December 2017 to 2019. Filming dates haven’t been set yet, but the three sequels are set to be shot in New Zealand
