The release of the Air Jordan X Chicago the White,Black,Red classic Bulls colorway of the tenth Air Jordan signature shoe. We alluded to the fact that the upper would feature Michael’s trademark number ’23′ stitched by the ankle, so here’s a first look at the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’, slated for a January 2012 release. The upper is completely white, and is paired with a black lace placket and a black, red outsole. The original Chicago X had a black midsole. Frank Ocean the 23 year old New Orleans sensation has garnered a lot of press recently from his association with the hip-hop group of the moment, Odd Future. The singer/songwriter has recently released the video for one of his solo endeavors – “Novacane.” The entitled track is off his mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra which will be re-released through Island Def Jam this summer.
Frank Ocean sings about meeting and wooing a dentist-to-be over a smooth, pulsating beat. More important, however, is the visual accompanying the song. Staying true to the OFWGKTA tradition of quirky, slightly disturbing music videos – we see Frank Ocean’s face physically ebbing and flowing in the same way one feels when injected with Frank Ocean – Novacane novocaine at the dentist. The ending offers a fun surprise, as well.
