Mariah Carey signs multi-album deal with Epic Records, Sony

Mariah Carey has signed a new recording contract with Epic Records.

The ‘Without You’ singer will rejoin forces with Antonio ‘LA’ Reid for a multi-album deal, a spokesperson for Sony has confirmed to Billboard.

The newly inked deal will begin with a greatest hits set in conjunction with Carey’s upcoming Las Vegas residency.

The singer’s forthcoming album with Epic will reportedly feature updates and potential duets of her classic hits.

Carey last released material through Sony in 1999 with Rainbow, which included the singles ‘Heartbreaker’ and ‘Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)’.

The star’s 2014 album Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse was released through Def Jam Recordings.

The record reached number 3 in the US and number 14 in the UK but failed to secure a top ten single in either territory.
