Dame Dash revealed a rare story on his favorite record from Reasonable Doubt, being Brooklyn’s Finest. Dame opened up on telling Jay-z to record his verses after Biggie, but Jay Z would immediately hit the studio and set the tone for the classic track. It took Biggie nearly 4 months to record the verse, as him and Jay originally planned to shoot a video to the song but Puff Daddy never signed off for his artist to contribute to the visual.
