John Legend and Common took to the stage and preformed their song titled Glory from the movie Selma. Later on Glory won the Best Original Song. Legend said during the duo’s acceptance speech.
“We know that right now, the struggle for freedom and justice is real…There are more black men under correctional control today than there were in slavery in 1850.”
