Japanese Army Troops Have Built a Giant ‘Star Wars’ Snow Sculpture

DOPE!!

The design was approved by Lucasfilms, as it also acts as a marketing tactic leading up to this year’s new Star Wars installation. Dubbed “Snow Star Wars,” the sculpture highlights a villainous Darth Vader and his icy light saber as well as a trio of Stormtroopers.

The Sapporo Snow Festival runs every year from February 5 through the 11th and is expected to have drawn more than 2 million visitors by the end of this year’s festivities.
