Following the success of his line of beauty products for women, the American fashion designer will debut a grooming collection for men this fall. Tom Ford for Men will include skin-care and grooming products like face cleanser, moisturizer, eye treatment, purifying mud mask, concealer and bronzing gel. The designer also has plans to coincide the launch of two new fragrances, adding to Private Blend collection, along with the new grooming line.
Also known for directing the Oscar-nominated film, Tom says, “I’ve been living in London since 1997, so I’ve seen it all. But I do agree that the men’s collections here are stronger this season than ever seen before so, yes, there may well be something to get excited about after all.”
This move to add designer beauty products to (metrosexual) men’s must-have list will pay off as studies state that in 2012, American men have spent about $5 billion only on grooming products.
