He joins already announced two-time Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla as a keynote. Santaolalla will discuss his award-winning work on “Brokeback Mountain,” “Motorcycle Diaries” and “Babel” in addition to his latest film score, “On the Road.” He has two releases ready for Sony Classical-a new album with his nuevo tango group Bajofondo and a solo album that will be released in 2013. The conversation will also explore his first venture into writing music for a videogame.

For the first time, the conference will provide an opportunity for musicians to get their music heard and evaluated by 10 music representatives actively pitching music for placement in film, TV and commercials. The conference will also include panels on composing, music supervision, advertising, publishing and career-building plus case studies on hit TV shows and films, live performances, one-on-one sessions and networking opportunities.
