GQ.com has a segment called Black Pioneers of Style. We have always set the bar when it comes to setting trends in each era. Looking back at some of these pics, it definitely proves to be true!!!! Here is a pic of the incomparable and legnedary Miles Davis circa 1953.

Interesting compilation…wish we could have seen more of their fashion sense in the photos. Makes me wish the man he currently owns the rights to CODE magazine (remember that one, the GQ mag for black men?) would do what need to be done to get the funding to release it. AIN’T NUFFING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FINER than a Black man in a suit or dressed to the nines in his own distinctive style.
