  11. Wow! I’m about to jump on youtube and get discovered by JD since he handing out contracts. Man, you could’ve found this in your local mall like Kriss Kross. The woman I see in this posting is exactly what I would’ve predicted to see as an artist. Once again, she is cute, 7/10, can hold a note, but she just doesn’t make me want to jump in my Rolls and drive down to So So Def studios. As a solo female vocalist, she will be competing against Beyonce, Keisha Cole, Monica, Melonie Fiona, Amerie, Rhianna, Keri Hilson etc.. She would’ve been better marketed in a group rather than solo. As an artist, you have ask yourself what are you selling, what are your strengths and weaknesses. She definitely ain’t selling sex, because she doesn’t make me want to freak her down. Her vocals are slightly above average, so she ain’t selling me some extraordinary talent. And judging from her BET performance, she doesn’t have the X factor. You know, that IT. You either have it or you don’t.

  14. Let me start out by saying Congrats to Dondria! I’ve been following you ever since you posted stuff on YouTube and will always continue to be a fan! Also congrats to you JD, but not only because you put her out or that you got a sky rocketing smashing single; your Jermaine Dupri, AND THAT’S WHAT YOU DO & HAVE TO DO, but because you have reintroduced THE MEANING OF MUSIC to the people who really listen! Artist with talent come out every year and every year they leave. Finding what the PEOPLE like and really sitting down and working hard to perfect the music is difficult and labels just rather make quick money. You could take 3 ordinary people off the demos you get put them out and that’ll be it, but you did something better. I’m a DJ and I can’t remember the last time, if not any time, that people in the club or a party come up and request real music before I get to in my spin (mind you that i have already have it in my playlist). But it brings me joy to see change in the development music for once, because my passion and love for music is so big with most of the stuff in this generation its hard to please. Thank you and congrats again to you both.

Didnt he take 2 jits wearin they clothes the wrong way and turn em into kriss kross? Dondria made a MILLION people sit and watch her sing other peoples songs on a webcam b4 she met Jd. So can you imagine with Jd where this is headed? People these days are too caught up with the comfort of the artists we already got to give new artist a chance. “oh her hair” “oh whos her stylist” “oh her stage presence” “she doesnt have the IT” Give her till album #3 and then lets have this convo again.
