DONDRIA 106TH & PARK PERFORMANCE

I COULDN’T REALLY TELL HOW THIS SOUNDED ON TV BEING THERE, BUT THE SOUND QUALITY IS A LOT BETTER THAN I WAS TOLD. I DID SENSE THE NERVOUSNESS AND THATS WHERE OUR WORK STARTS TODAY. BUT FOR EVERYBODY THAT MISSED IT AND ALL HER INTERNATIONAL FANS HERE’S DONDRIA’S FIRST 106 AND PARK PERFORMANCE .

  4. Dondria looked and sounded amazing! She did look a little nervous, but that’s ok because she will get better with time.

  5. She did good but the performance is kind of boring if you ask me. I just wish she could sang with more passion. As a matter of fact, I wish she sang a better song that she can belch out more. We need more slow songs like Stephanie Mills – I learn to respect the power of love, Teena Marie – Ooh La La La, and Janice McClain – Let’s Spend The Night. They all know how to belch out a note amazingly. I love the song anyways.

  11. I enjoyed the performance. She sounded great as usual. I could sense a little nervousness, but hell who wouldnt be. Thats will go away with time. So happy for here. JD keep doing ya thang!!!

  13. She was nervous, but she did good. Being on 106 & Park would make anyone nervous. The performance did get a lil boring, but yall can work on that. Good job Dondria!

    Dondria didn’t look or sound particularly nervous but u could def sense it. She actually seemed less nervous at the Monique Show performance.

    Just keep workin on it with her & she’ll be at a point where nobody will be able to sense it cuz it won’t be there anymore!

  15. So what she’s nervous! It’s not like she been doin this all her life! She was found on youtube! Coming from youtube to a big place like 1-0-6 can make you nervous! Its alot of pressure. Im happy for Dondria. Im glad JD said he saw the problem and he’s gonna take care of it. When I see her on #LTL she seems nervous, well not nervous but just excited and blown away. Im pretty sure she feel the pressure like JD, when everyones doubting her and all this because he found her off of youtube. Great move JD keep’em coming! #SOSOTAKEOVA !

  16. I SAY BRING A PROFESSIONAL ON THE TEAM THAT CAN HELP HER WITH STAGE PRESENCE/PERFORMANCE…AND SHE WILL BE JUST FINE! DONDRIA LIKES DOING “HAND INTERPRETATIONS” WHEN SHE SINGS…I DON’T KNOW ABOUT THAT 🙂

    ALSO, WHEN YOU DO YOUR DJ GIGS…I WOULD GET HER TO PERFORM AS WELL(AT ANOTHER LOCAL CLUB WHERE EVER YOUR DJING OR RADIO SPONSORED EVENT). THE MORE SHE PERFORMS THE MORE COMFORTABLE SHE’LL BECOME.

    I BELIEVE SHE DID A GREAT JOB THOUGH….I’VE SEEN HORRIBLE ON 106 & PARK(CASSIE)…DONDRIA DID DAMN GOOD JOB

  19. I agree with darkaqua33…Hire someone to work on her stage presence /performance. She needs to make the stage not seem so big. I’ve seen a couple of performances and she shrink on stage…that is a sign of not commanding the stage (as I am sure you know JD). Tell her to make people focus on her…not just sing. We all know she can sing and she looks damn good….so she doesn’t have to worry about that on stage…she has that taken care of. Let her know that is two less thing to worry about while performing…that should ease some of the pressure/nervousness while performing.

    Definantly not a bad performer/performance…just needs to be tweeked some. Keep it up.

    JD, I also wanted to tell you that I think it is awesome how hands on you are with your artist…you don’t put them in a machine, you groom them persoanally. That is awesome as a record label owner…very impressive.

  21. i no i’m late but so wht!!!!!!!!! i think she did good, shit who wouldnt be nervous…….tht was HUGE FOR HER CAREER!!!!! She’ll grow into an amazing artist! BEST OF LUCK DONDRIA.

  22. Yeah she had the nervous BOUNCE going, but I think she did good. I think it is great to continue to watch her as she gets better and better. It’s one thing to record yourself on youtube, but performing in front of a national audience is something else. She is a NEW artist so this is what it’s all about!!

  25. I had the luxury of seeing and hearing dondria perform live this past weekend right here in my home town of saint louis. In my opinion she has great potential as an aspiring artist. She has a beautiful beautiful voice and she truly has a gift which is a blessing. Also along with that very sweet natured person. I believe she will do well.
