Janet’s “On to the next one” with that video meaning she’s bringing us into a new visual age in video…as she’s always tried to do. Can those still stuck on stale with unimaginative club videos appreciate it? Ummm I don’t know. But If not, forget ’em. I witnessed the making of a music video today on set, and thank GOD major artists and directors are beginning to think out of the box.

Gil is a great choreographer but Lawd I wish he’d simplify some of those moves so a regular “Reggae Woman” in the Stevie tradition could do them. But on da other hand, the intricate moves keeps Janet literally steps ahead of errbody else so I’ll shut up and just watch.

I’m sooo looking forward to the AMA performance. It will be a great range of dance stuff old and new. And that’s one of the many things I love about Janet–the range. 33 #1’s ( ask any Mason, 33 is a Divine #). The range of music, the range of sounds, looks, vocals–ICONIC.

Now to get in yo biz cause I’ve got none of my own. Lol. Many will speculate how you and J’s personal “Love Jones” movie will go, but at the end of the day its good to see y’all speak well of each other publicly.

Loved the Interview on Wed, I believe that was the first time I’ve ever heard Janet have positive things to say about a former boyfriend/husband, with the exception of Q-tip and even then she never really went public with that relationship so I was happy to see that you and J are still really good friends, sometimes relationships just run their course, that’s just life.

@Steffknee, I never heard she dated Q-tip. They worked together on her CD while she was married to Rene’. That is it. She doesn’t do flings. Careful with the rumors. I firmly believe that they will get back together, if they aren’t already. Janet’s coy and private, so who knows.

@Deirdre Pride, she did date Q-tip fo a minute after she and Rene seperated, she confirmed it in Vibe Magazine a few years ago, the one with her wearing the Jean Vest on the cover, I still have that copy lol so I’m not spreading rumors, she even said they were intimate friends..so jus cuz you didnt hear about it doesnt make it untrue..Peace!!

i love janet to life…but whay would i spend money on something i already have? that doesn’t make sense. I bought all ofher albums up to this point except “Dream Street”. So, I already have all of the songs on this greatest hits CD besides Make Me. I’ll buy Make Me. But i’m not regurgitating money. This is not the time to bereleasing greatest hits CDs. When the new album with new material comes, i’ll look into purchasing that.
