  18. This guy’s beat are tight. Reminds of the stuff we did back in late 80’s in Memphis. I noticed a lot of Atlanta artist jumped on that style of beats like T.I., Jeezy, Bonecrusher, etc.. That shit is straight Memphis. Memphis just never really have the musical resources that Atlanta has and have had for decades. 3 six mafia is really the only group of many who came to the forefront out of Memphis but the real story is there are hundreds of artist from Memphis who bumped out like that they’re just unknown. Its just like back in the seventies, Memphis had a lot of enfluence on the music of that era with StaX even pimpin’. Compared to Atlanta, they will always have first grabs because you’ve got so many studios and stations there. Only if Memphis could be like that a lot more of the original people doing it can get thier recognition and just do.

Its the real “Deeper than Rap” beef. You’ll have to do ur background research and know the whole story to understand. To the average fan yeah it probably does seem petty, but to those that know the whole scenario u understand why this beef w/ probably never be squashed unforuntately. Actually its a shame I would of loved to see a Gangsta Grillz mixtape hosted by Drama featuring Jeezy and Gucci. That would set the streets on fire, , but it’ll never happen.

  29. jeezy makes better music overall, partly because i think Gucci puts out too much music (if thats possible to do). I think juice is hot, but not sure yet if he’s got gevity’. The song is a hit on some 101 type sh*t and could stand alone without the diss, but i see where he’s goin. The 3rd verse shoulda threw a jab at rocko lol snowman… so icey… Gucci shouldn’t diss he should just come back with the Cold Summer theme. Drop the same day as jeezy.
