@Ash annoying???? The point is that she is in her own Lane, nobody sounds like her. There is not no chick in the game right now using that low tone for a voice.. Her style has never been duplicated. I love Janet, but the problem that Janet has is that she has not found her lane. You can’t come out sounding like Ciara at 50. Mary has her lane, Jill Scott has her lane, I really can’t think of a sound that I can say ok, that’s Janet. I am not the one that thought of this, it was Frank Ski on the morning show talking about it and I agree with him. Janet is the queen of dance… I would have her sounding like Madonna on that fast Techo international stuff…

I don’t know how many times I have to lecture people on Janet’s legacy! People seem to forgot the Control album, the socially conscious album – Rhythm Nation 1814 (which touched many lives) or the experimental album that explored sexuality the – janet. album or the album that exposes the naked heart and mind of a very unique woman- The Velvet Rope album or the ideal pop album- All for You. or Janet’s last masterpiece- Damita Jo (perfect R&B album). Its like everyone forgot who Janet really is since Nipplegate happened. She’s a true artist who is one of a kind and to say she doesn’t have her own lane is absurd! I think TLC was a nice group, hence WAS! They were a great 90’s group but they just died down with the 90’s. Where as Janet has transited from the 80’s to the 90’s to 00’s. For 3 decades she has been giving us hit after hit. And I hate how people just shrug her off! Its like people create heros just to break them! Show your respect to Janet she is an icon! All the artist out now strive to achieve what she has! Just look at Beyonce! She’s trying to do the whole movie thing. You may ask why? because she wants a number one movie, number one album and tour! LOL! Just like Janet had with Poetic Justice, janet. album and the janet. tour!

Ciara is a good performer but Janet owns the stage. Janet blossom into her own right before eyes.. Nowadays this girls come out with their first albums then on the second album they are half naked talking about they are more comfortable with their sexuallity. I say bullshit.. So what Janet don’t sell records like she use to, does that mean she is a has been? No, because she can still command peoples attention like any other female singer out plus more.
