  2. Yeah Ush… I can’t wait til this new album hits us. Now that you got that “U” back around the neck i’m almost positive that you’re back on your BS (no diss intended). Before you came out with “Here I Stand” I was approached by a writer saying that she was working on songs for your upcoming album and she needed help with one or two of em. I wrote one and I don’t know If you even got to here it. It was called “I Know”. And before I got any further. I don’t want any royalties or any type of money from anything I just want the lyrics to be heard because i think it’s a hot song and concept that needs to be heard. But anyways I really hope that you’re back on your “BS” cause the music game needs another “Confession”ish kindah album. Oh and to comment on Michael Jackson selling 1 million tickets in an hour I think that with the right promo you could be the next artist to do that… NO I’m Not riding his D#*! people i’m just saying that i think he could be the next one to do this… but n-e way holla at ya boi

  6. JD, I hope you guys are getting back to the basics with Usher in the studio. I have been rockin wit Usher every since “You Make Me Wanna”, I’ve bought every CD including the last one which I truly felt was a disappointment. I don’t feel it was the quality music Usher usually puts out. Usually when I buy a Usher CD, I let it ride from beginning to end and on ‘Here I Stand”, I skipped quite a few tracks after listening to the CD the first time. I’m glad Usher is at a good place in his personal life, but I hope this next album is the Usher signature sound his fans know and love…………If the “Usher” chain is any indication, then I can’t wait for the new album!! At the end of the day it’s about putting out quality music that we can play in 2020 and be like “Yeah, that’s STILL my shit right there”!!!!!!!!!

  12. Since I can’t post on Youtube, I’ll just post here.

    I actually heard about the whole MJ thing, and how his tickets sold out fast. I think ConcreteLoop posted about it, but anyway, people do not post about things like that, because it just happens to be one of those post people skip over. They go on blogs that post information that they want to hear, and of course people that run these blogs put up anything juicy to get hits. Michael Jackson wasn’t someone in our time, so I’m assuming a lot of the blogosphere people do not even know much of Michael. He’s not interesting. Chrianna is more interesting, ya know. Basically, people overlook all this other historical stuff, and just wanna hear the lastest gossip, that’s all. Society as a whole is about instanst gratification.

    I was watching the LTL video (In the studio with Usher) and I’m already feeling the 5 seconds of the track. Really sounds like old classic r&b, and someone needs to bring it back, because Chris Brown isn’t going to. There’s reallly no real r&b out there anymore. Keep at it Usher! And props to the producers and writers! I bought his last album, and although the mass majority didn’t like it, it was still a solid album.

Why did LA REID have Usher record his first album with Puffy (the shit was hot) BUT not you. You don’t have one track on that album. Has anyone ever addressed that?   30. @ Posh.. lol.. poor thang. It’s like updating your status on Facebook. Where it says “What are you doing?” at the top, you just enter a phrase or two and hit update. To find people to follow.. you can go to ‘Find People’ and just enter a name in the search bar. When it comes up, there’ll be an option next to it that says ‘Follow’, you just hit that to add people. If you have a Blackberry or iPhone or any other PDA/Smartphone.. you can go add different Twitter apps to your phone to update from there. (I.E. Blackberry has the ever popular Twitterberry and then there’s Tweetie… and Twitterfon.. etc. etc.) If you want to get updates thru your phone or update via txt, you just enter the info under mobile settings. Hope that helps 🙂

  31. @ Spock: Why did I have that same experience like a few agos when they randomly played “You Make Me Wanna on radio. I was thinking the same thing. ( I didn’t pull over though, but damn the excitement that went through me). Music is beautiful.

    Reguarding Usher’s latest LP – Here I Stand..it was really good, I think people just slept on it for other reasons and that caused them to not like the disc. I still rotate Moving Mountains, What’s A Man To Do, Something Special, (HIS MISTAKES !!!!!!!!!!!!! – SAY WHAT?!), Trading Places etc. I just think everyone was expecting the typical Usher stuff, and when they didn’t get it, it was a bore. A lot of the songs were awesome though, each song had a story to tell, and Usher’s vocal game wasn’t horrible..

  60. Usher I am looking forward on hearing new music from you. The music that is out right now is at all time low. Most of the artists who have talent cant even get their music played on the radio.   62. i was born in 89 but agree with many of the ppl that have commented….we need another my way or 8701 or confessions….my first cd was my way and i still bump to it ….music now is not as good as 90s to early 00s music….For JD and Cox …make sure Day26 also brings the classic rnb

It’s been hiding but the chain is being brought back out again lol….usher once said “it’s about understanding how to dissect the movement that people can relate to so that they can feel that it’s special, if somebody throws their chain around their neck, you know where that came from, that’s usher movement” I agree with him . As a fan I want to hear records like “superstar ,u don’t have to call &that’s what it’s made for” because I felt that it was delivered and brought to the table.

  70. Proxy sites can be a great resource if you want to unblock a page. It lets you get around firewalls that may be blocking your ability to access a site. Unblock Myspace is a great site that will do just that for. Its really cool to cause there is a link there where you can sign up to have all the latest proxies emailed to you. Really helpful for when your proxy gest blocked so you don’t have to go hunting for more right when you only have a few mins and want to get on to myspace real quick and do an update or whatever.
